Interior Design Vacancy, Reference: WI/ID1

Vacancy available for talented qualified Interior Designer with innovative design skills and a minimum of three years post qualification experience to work primarily within the commercial sector.
The majority of our projects involve Hotels, Public Houses, Restaurants, Cafes, Retail Outlets, and Social Clubs. Walker Interiors are, at any one time, also involved in a number of residential projects.
Meeting clients, contractors, and other relevant professionals is the norm so excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
The role requires commercial awareness, entrepreneurial skills and a desire to capitalise on the opportunities for new and creative work in a busy, demanding environment.
Proven Project Management experience taking ideas through to implementation whilst understanding the importance of quality, delivery, timescale and cost is essential.
Technical ability for General Architectural Construction would be an advantage. CAD experience is required, preferably using Autocad, Fastcad, Radan or Archicad.
The applicant must be able to prepare design schemes from brief to completion. A sound knowledge of Furniture and Furnishing is a pre-requisite for this position.
Ideally you will be I.T. literate and conversant in other widely used computer packages.

The above post would be subject to a three month trial contract.
